One Water Institute
One Water Institute (OWI) delivers exceptional safety training and a leadership academy that empowers ONE TEAM participants with the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality service to customers throughout southeastern Michigan. Through regional collaboration and support, OWI aims to be the premier training and development resource for water sector providers in our region.
Why One Water Institute?
When you register with the One Water Institute, you will gain access to a variety of Health and Safety, Technical Operations, and Leadership training opportunities. Courses are instructor led either in-person or virtually. There are a limited number of online self-paced courses. Many courses offered through OWI have continuing education credits (CECs) that are approved through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). This information is provided before you register for a course.

One Water Institute Sign Up
Sign up to receive full access to our suite of educational materials. 1. Complete the form below with the name(s) of each person that would like to sign-up. 2. Click the plus (+) sign after the email box to add more participants. 3. Add at least one Manager/Administrator from your organization. The administrator can approve or deny training requests from your participants. If you are the Manager or Administrator, please fill out your name as both the Manager and Participant. 4. After you submit the completed form, you will receive an email with log-in credentials and instructions to access available courses within one week.
